The Madison Chapter

Our chapter has a history of being one of the largest and vibrant chapters of SFT. Our internal structure is simple and allows for specialization so we are able accomplish all that we do. See us at work and at play!

Chapter Coordinator: Overseer of campaign, coordinates between heads of departments, and communicates with sector and national offices.
Finance: Organizes the spending of funds, does bookkeeping, projects financial needs.
Recruitment and Retainment (PR): Main contact person for the chapter, sends the emails to the email lists.
Advertising: Manages the tabling info and merchandise, writes press releases, organizes postering and chalking.
Fundraising: Coordinates planning of events with other departments and is in charge of the fundraising events.
Tech: Creates and maintains the chapter website, keeps email lists up-to-date, looks for ways technology can streamline operations.
Outreach: Maintains the organization's contact with the Madison and Tibetan communities, coordinates SFTers volunteering at the Tibetan Tutoring Project.
